Hoppy Easter

April Fools chocolate joke

Mrs Stevenson the Easter Bunny brought in some treats for all the tamariki in Maunga this morning. What the children thought was a delicious Easter Egg treat turned out to be a healthy grape wrapped in easter foil. Haha! such fun!  but then they did get to eat the real chocolate egg and whislt doing so came up with a whole lot of interesting adjectives to describe it using their senses; feel, hear, see, smell and taste.

Greedy Cat Art and Adjectives

Team Maunga and Maunga Iti have been reading a shared book about Greedy Cat. Our tamariki have come up with lots of interesting adjectives to describe Greedy Cat and some have been used in writing. We have also been having a focus on the at word family, cat, mat, hat … See how many different at words you can think of at your house!
